The daughter of the late Albert And Myrtle Owens Bell. She married Raymond Clayton on March 21,1931 He passed away on March 31,1969. She was a stay at home mom prior to working at WVU in the food department and Rockwell, She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Reedsville. She is survived by three daughters; Betty Jo Tenney and husband Frank, Doris June Stainaker, and Diana Carol Gibson and husband Harold; one son Michael Clyton and wife Diana, Eight grandchildren, Bradley Brode, Lori Jo McDilda and husband David; Vicki Stainaker, Terri Onorato and husband Fred; Melissa Williams and husband Dee; Amy Gibson, Scott Gibson and wife Brandi; Joshua Clayton and wife Jen; two step-sons; Gregg Tenney and wife Becky. and Brad Tenney and wife Cissy; nine great-grandchildren; Matt. Amanda, Melissa, Jo, Davey, Alex, Sammi, Kemper, Jennifer, and Shaylie.In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sons in law,George R. Brode and Frank Stainaker, a grandson Richard R. Brode; and one son Richard Clayton, who died in infancy.
