Martha L Masters, age 92, of Johnson Street, Marion, died on Monday afternoon, February 12, 2007, at her daughter's residence in Beavercreek, Ohio.

She was born in Marion, Ohio, on September 16, 1914, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Magdelena (Walter) Klehm. A lifelong resident of Marion, she graduated from the Marion Harding High School in the class of 1933.

Shortly after graduation, Martha married her loving husband of over 58 years, Clyde H. Masters, on December 19, 1933, in Marion.

A beloved housewife, Martha took great pride in caring for their home and children. Every moment spent with her family she cherished, and she always looked forward to the next "big family party" when everyone would come home, even the dogs.

An avid euchre player, Martha would play anyone, anywhere, and any time. This is a joy she has shared with her husband, family, and many friends.

Martha was a member of the First United Church of Christ in Marion, the Prospect Senior Citizens Club, and the Erie Railroad Women's Lodge.

She will be missed by her daughters Janet (William) Johnston of Beavercreek, Ohio, and Jill Masters of Livonia, Michigan; sons Charles (Jeanne) Masters of Gainsville, Virginia, and Douglas (Karen) Masters of Bowling Green, Ohio; nine grandchildren Denise DaCostaGomez, Scott Turner, Holly Braun, Randall Masters, Julie Miller, Ginger Hannons, Amy Brinkmiller, Martha Kugler, and Ryan Masters; 12 great-grandchildren; and 4 step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son Clyde R. Masters, in 1996; brother Walter Klehm; and sister Miriam Klehm.
