Edna Leota (Moseley) Jones was born in Oklahoma City, OK. Her grandparents made the land run in 1889. She graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City. On Easter, April 16, 1933, she married Howard Clinton Jones, her childhood sweetheart and husband of 67 years. Howard passed away in 2000. For many years Howard and Edna operated a Holstein dairy farm on NE 23rd Street. During these years she was an active 4H Club leader. Edna served as Superintendent of the Blinn House County Home for Girls for 10 years and retired in 1975. Edna was a member of the Del City First Southern Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. and Gertrude Moseley; brothers, Chester, Homer, Don, and Curtis Moseley; and a sister, Myrtle Rupp.

She is survived by her three children, Howard Clifford Jones and wife, Carolyn of Edmond, Chester Leon Jones and wife, Ann of Oklahoma City, Barbara Gayle Lohrey and husband, John of Oklahoma City; six grandchildren, Gary Howard Jones and wife, Renee, Vicki Lynn Berrios and husband, Tony, Wendel Lee Jones and wife, Denise, Sherrill Ann Cooper and husband, Bill, Kimberly Ann Bradshaw and husband, Michael, John Howard Lohrey and wife, Jenna. God blessed Edna with eleven great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City Thursday, February 15, 2007 with burial at KOLB Cemetery, Spencer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to The Children's Center, 6800 NW 39th Expressway, Bethany, OK 73008.
