Winter Park, FL - Funeral services for W. Frank Allen, 66, of Winter Park, Fl, who died in Orlando, FL, yesterday morning after a brief illness, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Catholic church in Winter Park. Burial will be in Winter Park.
Allen is survived by his wife, the former Miss Marie Sheridan of Macon; one son, W. Frank Allen Jr. of Orlando; one daughter, Mrs. T. A. Lundeen of Miami, Fl; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. R.C. LeSueur of Roberta, Miss Lucie Allen and Miss Ruth Allen, both of Macon, and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Knoxville, GA, Allen was the son of Wilson Pope and Lydia Wright Allen. He was a veteran of World War I and served in the Rainbow Division, taking part in the battle of Chateau Thierry. For the past 35 years, he had made his home in Florida. He was a member of the VFW, Florida Citrus Growers Association and the Catholic church.
