Mary was born to Alfonso and Margaret (Cardenas) Martinez, grew up in California and Fort Lupton, and married John Antuna on November 19, 1971 in Fort Lupton. Mary was an active member of St. William Catholic Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir, “Friends in Christ” for many wonderful years. She worked as a Para-Professional at Ft. Lupton Middle School and High School. She always had a smile on her face, regardless of her own pains. Mary had a heart bigger than she was and had the ability to always make others feel loved. Survivors beside John included: daughter, Anna Vigil of Ft. Lupton; three sisters, Margie Ibarra, Mary Ann Martinez and Angela Martinez all of Ft. Lupton; three brothers, Alfonso Martinez, Jr., Frank (Grace) Martinez, both of Ft. Lupton and Lawrence Martinez of Northglenn; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Rosary Service held May 15th followed by Mass of Christian Burial on May 16th, both services at St. William Catholic Church.
