Our loving mother, Melva Blair Moser, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2017 at 94 years of age.

She was born on March 3, 1923 to Rosemond Alma Blair and Lorretta Kartchner Blair in Lewiston, Utah, where she grew up and graduated from North Cache High School. She was very close to her parents and siblings.

On June 3, 1941, she married Dean T. Moser in the Logan LDS Temple and soon afterward moved to Ogden, Utah. Together they had three children.

Melva had worked as a seamstress, a model, sold clothing, and shoes to help pay off the family’s home.

Melva was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions in her wards. She and Dean served in the Ogden LDS Temple for more than 19 years.

Her family meant everything to her. She nourished and nurtured all in her family and provided and taught, by example, a love of Jesus Christ, including love for others and service. She was also a great listener.

Melva is survived by her children: Marsha Richter, Blair (Terry) Moser and Deborah (Kim) Dixon; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her wonderful husband, Dean; and two sweet grandchildren: Meredith Moser and Paul Dixon.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Until we meet again, Mom we love you!
