Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mary Emma Hatch Oakley, 82, passed away peacefully, August 7, 1990.

Born May 30, 1908, Syracuse, Utah, the daughter of Samuel and Annie Spires Hatch. Married Edward Samuel Oakley, August 19, 1932, in Farmington, Utah. He preceded her in death on August 7, 1975. Lived in the Davis County area, coming to the Salt Lake East Mill Creek/Holladay area, 36 years ago. Member LDS Church, Olympus Second Ward. Mary was a hardworking, good soul, who enjoyed gardening and being with her family. Her family loves her dearly and will miss her.Survivors include a son, LeVor (and Renee) of Kearns; two daughters, Donna (& Keith) Brimhall, Kaysville and Joyce (and Mel) McKean, of Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Melvin Hatch of Bountiful. Preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.


Graveside services will be Friday, August 10th, 10:30 a.m., in the Holladay Memorial Park, 4950 Memory Lane (1990 East). Friends may call Friday morning from 9:30 a.m. to time of service at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East.
