Elderly Resident Of Shamokin Dies Mrs. Agnes (Addie Moore, 90, of 117 East Independence Street, died this morning in Shamokin Hospital where she was admitted 10 days ago as a medical patient.Death apparently was due to burns Mrs. Moore received last Thursday when she fell in the bathtub on the hot water faucit. Born in Wiconisco May 30. 1866, Mrs. Moore was a daughter of the late Alexander and Janet (Muir) Addie. She was a resident of Shamokin almost 70 years. Mrs Moore attended public schools in Wiconisco. She was a member of Lincoln Street Methodist Church, Womans Society of Christian Service, Lincoln Circle and Mrs. Aurand's Sunday School class. The late local resident was married 65 years ago to Howard A. Moore, who, prior to his death,: was a reporter for a newspaper in Elizabeth, N. J. Mr. nd Mrs. Moore resided in N3W Jersey several years before coming to Shamokin. Survivors include one son, Wilbur; one sister, Mrs. Margaret English, Shamokin, and one granddaughter, Mrs. Earl Anderson, Trumbull. Conn. Brubaker, pastor of Lincoln Street Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Elizabeth, N. J. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening, from 7:00 to 9:00.
