Death certificate states her birthdate is Sept. 20 however obit states Sept. 28, 1915.
Eliza died in Bay City at the home of her son Albert, on Sunday morning, January 24, 1915, Mrs. Louis W. Secor, aged 88 years, 2 months and 27 days.
Eliza was born near Toronto, Ont., September 28th, 1826 and in 1844 was united in marriage to Louis W. Secor. In the fall of 1881 the family moved to Michigan and located on what is known as the "Joe Duvall" farm 1 mile nrth and 1 mile east of Yale where they resided for many years.
Nine children were born in this union, all of whom survived her. They are Russel, of Yale; Henry of Toronto, Ont.; Albert, Bay City; John, Toronto; Norman of Detroit; Sarah T. Law, Toronto; Richard, Bay City; Fred, Clio; Minnie Sutton, Curran, Alcona Co., Michigan.
Funeral service held at Bay City, Internment being made in Elwood Cemetery in the family lot beside her husband who past last June 1914.
