He was born March 7, 1949 in Oakland City, Indiana, to Artie and Gladys (Blount) Aldridge. He married Dixie L. Bailey on September 22, 1967 in Oakland City, Indiana. Mr. Aldridge worked as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the New Liberty General Baptist Church, U.M.W.A., Petersburg V.F.W. Post, and Oakland City American Legion. Paul was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Rosalee Travagiakis; and two brothers, Jack Aldridge and Raymond Aldridge.

Funeral services for Paul F. Aldridge will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.S.T., on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Cup Creek Cemetery in Pike County. Reverend Terry Beadles will officiate at the funeral service and a veteran's honor guard will conduct military graveside rites at the cemetery.
