Leona Lee Ottesen Arnold Kaiser passed away May 13, 2017 she was born to Doyle Ottesen and Patsy Singleton Ottesen, November 9, 1958 in Rexburg Idaho. She grew up in Moody Creek Idaho helping with the family farm moving pipe and driving truck. She attended school at South Fremont High were she was active in the Drill Team. She married Mike Allen Arnold in March 11, 1977 and they farmed and had a trucking company, Arnco Farms until he passed away September 7, 2000. The farm was her life passion as well as camping, snow machining and family. She loved horses and working with cattle. She was involved the Idaho Trail Machine Association and the Moody Powder Pushers and loved to go huckleberrying. She helped raise her niece and nephew Hayden and Haylie Kluksdal and was their “other mother”. She married Jeff Kaiser May 18, 2002 and acquired three children from that union William, Brandon and Jessica Kaiser. They enjoyed trail riding, camping, snow machines and hunting. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Daughter-in-Law, Aunt and friend and always took the time to send them a card or visit. Her greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her husband Jeff, children Hayden (Chelcey) and Haylie Kluksdal, William, Brandon and Jessica Kaiser. Grandchildren Lillie and Rykur Kaiser, mother Pat Pettingill, siblings Bobbie (Lane) Larsen, Leon (Wendy) Ottesen, nieces and nephews Eric Ottesen, Mike and Racien Kluksdal, Lynlee Pacheco, LaRee (Edward) Martineau, Jacob, Karra, Kenyon, Mariah, Torin, Samuel, Marcus, Regan, Devin, Lance Ottesen. Mother in-law’s Muriel Kaiser, Naomia Arnold. Sisters-in law Nikki Ottesen, Denae Burrie, Kathy Johnson and Vickie Tabeling
She was preceded in death by her first husband, dad, brother Richard Ottesen, brother-in-law Val Arnold, and mother-in-law Verla Arnold, father’s-in-law Dean Arnold and Allen Kaiser, niece Sophie Kluksdal, Grandparents Irvin and Jenny Ottesen, Fred and Flossie Singleton.
The family will receive friends Wednesday May 17, 2017, from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the Teton LDS Church. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Teton LDS Church, 44 West Main Street, Teton, Idaho 83451. Interment will be at Sugar Cemetery, Sugar City, Idaho.
