Anna was born to Alonzo (Don) Lawless and Eva Tiller Lawless on July 27, 1925.She was 3rd child of 5 girls, Lola Wesley, Susie Stearns, Anna M. Lawless, Verdie Dee Landwer, and Eva Sunshine Anderson..4 boys James E. Lawless, Alla B. Lawless, Millard Lawrence Lawless and Merideth Lee Lawless. She Married Ivis (TOE JOE) Grider at a very young age and had two children Shirley Ann Grier, Helm,Melton and Donnie Lewis Grider Memorial#29801243. Divorced and four years later she was wooed into a relationship with James Isham Hadley who was at the time still married to his wife Madie Hadley...two illegentimate children were born out of this relationship Wanda Kay Grider, Robinson, Wells and Johnnie Lawless Memorial #84900184.Anna was a strong person and raised all four of her children with no help from either of the two fathers nor Family. She refused to be the cause of a divorcde between Wanda and Johnnies Bio father and his wife. The latter two were forbidden to talk about their biological father but were always let known who he and their other siblings were to avoid any sexual relations with an unknown sibling. Having lost her two sons, both at the early age of 32 years, and her oldest daughter totally turning her back on her or any family connections Anna become bitter to the world as she knew it. Boldly honest with her opinion, self willed, strongly independent, and very stubborn, it was difficult to keep any relationships with family or friends. Wanda the 3rd child of Miss Anna was the only person that she had, to rely on in her latter years and at times they may be periods of 6 months or more that Miss Anna would not allow Wanda to come around her. It is believed that she did not want to be a burden on this child and knew that Wanda was as sturborn as she herself, therefore she had to find reasons to become angry and verbaly abusive to cause Wanda not to come around her until Miss Anna cooled down and called Wanda to come back to see her. She spent a lot of her life after Johnnies passing alone. She loved gardening and reading. It is believed that She, later in life, came to know our Lord Jesus Christ and accepted him as her personal saviour. She passed from life with Wanda by her bedside at Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs Ky. Upon building this memorial I am having difficulties in adding the children to Miss Anna's file. I have been unable to edit both Johnnie and Donnies Memorial to add their parents so I can link all together. If and when I get it all figured out I will try to add photo's of all three also.
