Kathy Arlene Adams Presley, age 58, of Florence (formerly of Russellville) passed away May 14 at her residence after a long, hard fight with her illness.
Kathy loved the outdoors, gardening and canning. She had worked several years as an RN at Shoals Hospital. Kathy loved her friends and family more than anything.
The visitation will be noon to 2 p.m. May 17 at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Sister Pearl Shelton. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Aaron Presley; parents, Robert Sidney and Geneva Adams; brothers, Bobby Gene Adams, Ralph Adams, O’Neal Adams and Junior Adams; and sisters, Lorene Bankston and Mary Horton.
She leaves to cherish her memory her sons, Robert Presley and Adam Presley and fiancé Erika; grandchildren, Teresa Smith, Hanna Presley, Brooklyn Kimbrough, Braylen Kimbrough, Cayden Hammond and Isabella Hammond; sister, Linda Miller and husband Bobby; niece, Darla Cantrell; nephew, Randal Adams; special sister-in-law, Norma Presley; special friend and companion, Steve Oliver; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The pallbearers will be Adam Presley, J.T. Adams, Adam Adams, Randal Adams, Kevin Presley and Steve Butler.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Kathy’s caregivers, Adam, Erika, Sydney and Cameron and the staff of Colbert County Home Health for the care and attention shown to Kathy in her illness.
