Wife of Henry Gibbs Aldous (B. June 25, 1829) who died September 29, 1863 on Folly Island, Charleston Harbor, SC, and is buried at Beaufort National Cemetery, SC.

Mother of Margaret A. who died at six years, June 17, 1862 while her father was serving in the Civil War. Young Margaret A is in the Aldous Family plot with Grandfather, Stephen Aldous.

Mrs. Z. Aldous died at the home of her son, Melbern Aldous at Potsdam, Sunday, after an illness of many months duration. Mrs. Aldous formerly resided in this town and the funeral service will be conducted here, tomorrow afternoon, at 1 o'clock from the Baptist Church. Rev. Albert W. Rogers will have charge of the service and burial will be in the Aldous family lot in Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Aldous was a sister of Mrs. Charles Henry Smith [Lovina Poole], of this place.

The body of Mrs. Aldous was brought here this afternoon from Canton for internment. Deceased was a sister of Mrs. Lovina Smith of this village. Her maiden name was Poole.

No marker can be found in this cemetery, it's possible it was damaged, lost or possibly never made.

With information from her obituary, we concluded that Mrs. Zerviah Aldous is buried here.
