ARCH W. ALLEN
Mr. Arch W. Allen, 85, of Zephyrhills, Fla., died Dec. 5, 1965 at Millers Antonio House, San Antonio, Fla., after a long illness.
Born in Danby, Tompkins Co., June 9, 1880, son of Matthew and Cornelia Wardwell Allen, he was a former resident of Candor and Owego until a few years ago when he and his wife moved to Fla.
Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esmaree Allen of Zephyrhills, Fla; his sister, Mrs. Edyth Ferris of Candor; two nephews, four nieces, and cousins.
He was a member of St. Paul's episcopal Church in Owego, and a life member of the Owego Lodge of Elks.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 1965, at the Estey and Munroe Funeral Home in Owego, Rev. David Talbot officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor.
