Frederick Joseph Teahon was born Feb. 18, 1951, to Leland and Ann (Barnes) Teahon in Broken Bow.
He died May 14, 2017, at the age of 66, in Wellington, Colo.
He graduated from Halsey High School, in 1969. He attended Chadron State College where he played college football until ranching drew him back to the Sandhills.
Fred and Linda (Hampton) were married in 1974, in Mullen. They were gifted with two daughters, Karri Marie Teahon and Christy Charleen Teahon.
Fred's next venture lead to the Lazy E Ranch in Guthrie, Okla., as a Ferrier and Horseman. Fred enjoyed the challenge and excelled in ranching, working with horses.
Later his ventures lead him to the petroleum industry in which he work at various locations throughout the United States and Canada, for a Tri Star Industries.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Christy Teahon.
He is survived by his daughter, Karri Marie Teahon; grandsons Dylan Johnson and Jamen Marzonie; siblings Larry and Linda Teahon, Gary and Lisa Teahon, Kathy and Red Christensen, Don Teahon, Mike Teahon, Matt Teahon and Mark Teahon; and long-time friend, Rodger McGooden.

A memorial will be in the St. Anselms Catholic Church in Anselmo, at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 19.

Ashes have arrived at cemetery, between funeral day and today.
Plaque in on the back of his mother's (Anne Marie Barnes) Teahon, stone. Small brass type plaque is hard to see.
