Obituary from "The Bridgeport Post," dated Monday, June 9, 1969, page 36:

"GLENN KINNICK

Services for Glenn Gordon (Whitey) Kinnick, 53, of 283 Pearl Harbor street, who died Saturday in his home, will take place Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Charles T. Pisley and Sons funeral home, 255 Barnum avenue, and at 10 o'clock in the St. Paul's Episcopal church with the Rev. Edward Morgan, rector, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview cemetery.

Born in Mountainberg, Ark., Mr. Kinnick had been an inspector with Silkersky Aircraft for 15 years. He was also a player on many area baseball clubs.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Annette Hermine Chovanec Kinnick; two daughters, Mrs. Caroline Waiksnis (my note: or Walksnis), of Orange, and Mrs. Madeline Hartman, of Monroe; his father John B. Kinnick, of Bridgeport; three brothers, Orville Kinnick, of Yonkers, N.Y., Leon Kinnick, of San Rolando, Calif., and Therell Kinnick, of Los Angeles, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Fay Evans, of Los Cruces, Texas, (my note: should be Las Cruces, NM), Mrs. Kathleen Tucker, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Louise Filbert, of Little Rock, Ark.; and four grandchildren."
