Esteemed Woman Resident Passes Away At Her Home Yesterday Morning.

Deceased is survived by husband, two sons, one daughter , two sisters and three brothers

Mrs. Robert Livingston, a life-long resident of Minonk and of this vicinity, died at her home in this city yesterday morning at 11:30, aged 56 years, lacking four days. Mrs. Livingston had been in poor health for a long time and recently it had been that the end was inevitable.
Elsie Jane Davidson was born on the Davison homestead five miles west of Minonk, August 16, 1869, being the daughter of the late P. H. and Jane C. Davison. At the age of about 10 years she made the acquaintance of the Savior and was Baptized in the Crow creek by Charles Sands, becoming a member of the Meridian Baptist church at at Jefferson school. After completing the course in the rural schools, she received the balance of her education at Eureka college.
She was united in marriage with Robert M. Livingston, September 24, 1895. They went on a farm five miles west of Minonk and remained there seven years. Next they resided in Minonk for three years, when they went to Toluca and lived there nine years. Since 1914 they had resided in Minonk. Six children came to the home, of whom three died in infancy. Those who survive are Thomas M., residing west of Minonk, and F. Leland and Lucille, at home, together with the husband, three grandchildren, seven nephews and seven nieces.
Mrs. Livingston is survived by two sisters and three brothers; Mrs. Franc Kerrick and Mrs. Bertha Swing of Riverside, California; W. S. Davison and P. H. Davison, of Minonk, and J. M. Davison, of Riverside, California.
A true Christian woman, with all of the lovable qualities which that implies, Mrs. Livingston's death will be deeply mourned by countless friends, as well as by the immediate family. Of pleasing personality, with friendliness as of her very nature, with a heart filled with pure Christian love, she endeared herself to all and the community feels a deep loss in her passing.She was an earnest and devoted member of the First Baptist church of Minonk for a number of years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. L. C. Taylor, pastor of the First Baptist church. Burial will be made at the Davison cemetery, west of Minonk.
