Marla Sue Morris passed away on Saturday, May 6th at Saint Francis Hospital. She was 62 years old and lived in Sapulpa with her husband, Jerry. She was born on October 23rd, 1954 in Sapulpa. She is the daughter of the late Lamar and late Mary Stephenson.
Marla received her diploma in nursing from St. John School of Nursing and her Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. She worked for many years as an oncology nurse. More recently she worked as a Clinical Monitor Lead at lnventiv Health. She will be remembered most for her sense of humor, her strength, and the love she gave to all her family and friends.
Marla is survived by her husband, Jerry Morris, her children Thomas and Amanda Oare, Clint and Kari Oare, Ryan and Kristin Morris, and Todd Morris and Alicia Armstrong. Her grandchildren Ethan, Caden, Makinley, Colin, Madilyn, Hazel, Hattie, Max and Dharma, her sister Liz Henry. Her nephew Shane Henry and Niece Allyson and Mick Dow and their families. The JUGS and many other friends and family.
A celebration of her wonderful life will be held this Friday, May 12th, from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Ovations Ballroom, 25 East Lee in Sapulpa. Please come by and share stories, memories, and "Marla-isms" with her family and friends.
