Marla received her diploma in nursing from St. John School of Nursing and her Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. She worked for many years as an oncology nurse. More recently she worked as a Clinical Monitor Lead at lnventiv Health. She will be remembered most for her sense of humor, her strength, and the love she gave to all her family and friends.
Marla is survived by her husband, Jerry Morris, her children Thomas and Amanda Oare, Clint and Kari Oare, Ryan and Kristin Morris, and Todd Morris and Alicia Armstrong. Her grandchildren Ethan, Caden, Makinley, Colin, Madilyn, Hazel, Hattie, Max and Dharma, her sister Liz Henry. Her nephew Shane Henry and Niece Allyson and Mick Dow and their families. The JUGS and many other friends and family.
A celebration of her wonderful life will be held this Friday, May 12th, from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Ovations Ballroom, 25 East Lee in Sapulpa. Please come by and share stories, memories, and "Marla-isms" with her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society to honor the years of work Marla has done to help those with cancer.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa, OK.
