Washington, Ia., April 26.-Mrs Sarah Miller, aged ninety-three years, is dead at her home on East Third street. Mrs Miller was probably the oldest person in Washington. She was born in Virginia in 1820. Her first husband was Wm. Welsh (Welch). After his death she was married to Peter Miller, who died some twenty-six years ago. The family came to Washington in 1855 and the home has been here ever since.
Surviving Mrs miller are two sons and one daughter, Benj. T. Welsh, Topeka, Kan., H. C. Welsh, Washington, and Mrs. Jos. Accord, Deep River, Ia. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon.
