Mary Franks was born in Lee Cty. Mississippi to Dolly Casebolt. She married Wayne Barringer Nov. 4, 1939 and lived in Tupelo, Ms. She later married John Franks on Dec. 23, 1960 in Marshall Cty. Mississippi. They lived in Memphis, Tn. until they both retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber. John died in 1979 after a battle with cancer. Mary enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, sewing, church, and spending time with her family. She had a stroke, and had to have assisted living. She died at her son's home.
