Boer Commando, held as a Prisoner of War in Bellevue Camp, Simon's Town, Cape Colony during the Second Anglo Boer War 1899-1902. From Potchefstroom, Transvaal. Died of enteric fever (typhoid) in Simon's Town aged 39 years. Commemorated on a Republican Forces memorial in Seaforth Old burying Ground, Simon's Town.
