Homer was born in Houston, Texas to Stella Bustinza Hoffman and Homer Cecil Hoffman, Sr.
Homer served in the United States Air Force as an Airman. He was a member of the Local 125 Ironworkers Union and repaired appliances at The Appliance Store that he owned. Homer also had the gift to build and enjoyed building houses. He also loved to fish and most of all he loved spending time with all of his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Donna Peveto Hoffman; son, Homer C. Hoffman, III; daughters, Stacey Barbain, Shelly Moore and her husband Greg, Julie Smith and her husband Kirk, Suzy Wimberley and her husband Jim and Lisa Francis and her husband Marc; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
