A native of Russell County, Va., she was a daughter of the late Caney and Jenny Dye. She was the widow of James Marshall Perkins, who died in 1963.
Survivors include four daughter, Mrs. James Vance, Mrs. Floyd Griffith and Mrs. Harley Miller of Swords Creek, Mrs. Laudy Richardson of Clayton, Ind.; five sons, Herman, Clyde and Euel Perkins of Mansfield, Ohio, Carnedis and Hurley Perkins of Swords Creek; three sisters, Mrs. Floyd Dye and Mrs. Matthew Tuggle of Swords Creek and Mrs. Ruthie Meade of Richlands, Va.; five brothers, Hobert, Alden, Benton and Leonard Dye of Swords Creek and Bert Dye of Akron, Ohio; thirty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Honaker, Va., Funeral Home Chapel, by Rev. Harley Dye. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va.
