MRS. KATHARINE CORWIN
Memphis, Mo., Aug. 9. — Mrs. Katharine Lucetta Corwin, 84, died Saturday morning at 10:30 in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will Glover, where she had resided the past 18 days.
Mrs. Corwin was born June 6, 1880. in Scotland county, a daughter of William and Virginia Daiton. Her first marriage was to James Clarence Howe, who died in July of 1945. Her second marriage was to Sol P. Corwin, who died last June 8. She was a member of the Greensburg Christian church.
Surviving are two sons, Claude Howe of Cedar Rapids, Ia., and Nova Howe of Dalton, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Simeon Stott of Memphis and Mrs. Gladys VanZandt of Indianola, Ia., and 12 grandchildren. Mrs. Corwin was the last of 14 children, a son, Lloyd, preceded her in death.
