Brother of Mrs. Dee Pierce Dead
Albert Otto Dalton, a brother of Mrs. Dee Pierce of northwest of Haxelville [sic], died at 8:20 o'clock Monday evening, Jan. 14, 1963, at Fulton. He was 56 years old and had been in ill health for several years. Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock this afternoon at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home here. The Rev. Custer Vaughn of Edina will officiate and burial will be in the Greensburg Cemetery. He is survived by a daughter, Veva, Mrs. Lawrence Grotewiel, and her husband and their daughter, Cherryl, of Wright City, two sisters, Jennie, Mrs. Pierce, and Bessie, Mrs. Harry Jenrich, of Ft. Myers, Fla., also several nieces and nephews. He was born March 26, 1906, near Greensburg in Scotland County, a son of George B. and Susan Beloyd Dalton. He was married Sept. 4, 1931, to Dorothy L. Bowen and they were the parents of the daughter mentioned. He was a farmer in Scotland County until moving to Fristell but had been in a hospital at Fulton the last 10 years.
