Agnes M. Layton
Frankford—Agnes M. Layton, age 100, of Frankford died Saturday, January 26, 2013. She was born in Willards and was the daughter of the late Virgil and Malinda (Truitt) Bradford.
She had been a seamstress for many years at the Willards and Powellville shirt factories.
She is survived by three daughters, S. Malinda Carey of Dagsboro, Emma L. Flood and her husband Edward of Dagsboro and Trudy E. Smack and her husband Larry of Frankford; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Collins and her second husband, Walter Layton.
A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Willards with Pastor Eric Warner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, c/o Laura Gaylor, 11241 Bell Road, Whaleyville, MD 21872.
