Services for Mr. Isaac Lewis Armstong, 72, of Sreveport, LA will be held at 2 pm sunday, Jan. 28 1990 at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be te Rev. H.L. Kendrick, Jr., pastor of South Bossier Church of the Nazarene. Masonic graveside rites will be conducted at Bethsaida Cemetery in Ida, LA.

Mr. Armstrong died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1990 at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was a resident of Shreveport most of his life. Mr. Armstrong was a retired postal clerk with the US Postal Service. He was also a 33rd Degree Mason and a member of the Cedar Lodge. He was a member of the El Karubah Shrine Temple, and was a member of the Linwood Baptist Chruch. Mr. Armstrong was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, having served in the U. S. Army and actively participated in the European and Pacific Theatre where he was highly decorated.

Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by two brothers, Oscar and Esten Armstrong.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Geneva E. Armstrong of Shreveport; two sons and daughters-in-law David and Etha Armstrong of Mansfield, LA, and Jerry and Janice Armstrong of Lakeland Georga; three siters Mrs Clara Wright of Hope, Arkansas Mrs. Iwana Gauld of Ovile, Alabama, and Mrs. Audrice Noresworthy of Shreveport; three brothers, E. J. Armstrong an Bill Armstrong both of Shreveport, and John Armstrong of Bossier City, L; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and hephews.

Pallbearers will be George Whittington, Lamo Thomas, Harvey Kemper, Charles Kemper, Curtis H. Ernest, and Jim Fair. The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Shrine Hospital for Crippled Children in Shreveport.
