Lucille is an example of 97 years of a life well-lived.
She was born on February 24th 1920 in Fairfax, Vt., she was the daughter of Felix Joseph and Jennie Oliver Baillargeon Badger.
Born prematurely, she was delivered by her father, the 10th of 15 children.
She grew up in on a farm in Westford/Fairfax, Vt. but moved to Burlington, Vt. as soon as she was able to work including; Champlain Mills, Housekeeping, General Electric, and IBM.
In Burlington, Vt., she met the love of her life, Arthur C. Barnier. Together they were doing everything together including building a life and raising a family.
She married Arthur Chester Barnier on November 11th 1937 in Burlington, Vermont. He predeceased her after 49 years of marriage in 1986.
After Arthur died, Lucille developed a love of traveling and began dividing her time between her son's home in Vermont and hers daughters' homes in Colorado and Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband, all of his sisters and brothers and spouses, and her own 7 sisters and 7 brothers and their spouses.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 26th 2017 at 1:30 PM at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral on 20 Allen Street in Burlington.
Burial will follow at the New Mount Calvary Cemetery on Plattsburgh Avenue in Burlington, Vt.
