Anne Pruitt Adkins, 86, of Bassett, died Monday, May 22, 2017 at Stanleytown Rehab Center. She was born September 10, 1930 in Patrick County to the late Will Pruitt and the late Pencie Dunkley Pruitt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Adkins, four brothers and four sisters.
She retired from Bassett Furniture Industries in 2007.
She is survived by three children, Clyde “Danny” Adkins, David Lee Adkins and Mary A. Beacham; three grandchildren, Ronnie D. Adkins, Kimberly A. Sprouse and John “Travis” Beacham; four great grandchildren, Kimberly Adkins, Carey Adkins, Makayla Sprouse and Layla Beacham; one sister, Kenzie Penland; brother, Harvey L. Pruitt.
