Eddie Lorene Werth, 89, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011 at her home in Long Beach. She was born in Springfield, Colorado on January 12, 1922, moving to Long Beach with her family in 1935. Eddie married John Werth in January 1948, and together they had three children. She was a homemaker most of her life, and enjoyed her family, her home and friends in Long Beach. Eddie was a warm and generous woman whose nature endeared her quickly to all who met her. Eddie will be missed dearly, but we are grateful she is free of illness and is now at peace. She is survived by her three children: daughter, Jetta Miles (Tom) of Yorba Linda; son, Steven Werth (Terri) of Vista; son, Gregory Werth (Elaine) of Los Alamitos; and nine grandchildren; and step-grandchildren. A service to remember Eddie and celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Luyben Family dilday-Mottell Mortuary, Long Beach.
