Anniston - Sarah Frances Angel, 82, died Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Angel was retired from Sewell Mfg. Co. after 22 years. Sarah was a mother of 6, grandmother of 14, and a great grandmother of 10. She was a faithful member of The Heflin Church of God, and an Evangelist since age 17.
Mrs. Angel was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Angel; a daughter, Brenda Maner; a grandson, Landon McCrelles; her parents Charlie and Nevada Ponder; a brother, Raymond Ponder; and a sister, Marie Wood.
Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister; and a brother.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Kennedy and Rev. Eric Snider, officiating.
Burial will follow in Iron City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
