"Raymond Walter Heitzman, 79, Eudora, Kan., formerly of Overland Park, died Saturday at a hospital in Lawrence, Kan. He was born in Warsaw, Mo., and had lived in this area before moving to Eudora. Mr. Heitzman worked for the General Motors Corp. Fairfax assembly plant before he retired. He was a member of the Woodson Avenue Bible Church. He leaves a son, Paul Heitzman of Eudora; two daughters, Miss Allene Heitzman of Peru and Mrs. Madeline Troyer of Sugarcreek, Ohio; a brother, Joe Heitzman of Kansas City, Kan.; two half-brothers, Charles Heitzman of Calif., and Gene Heitzman of Warsaw; a sister, Mrs. Larie McCubbins of Warsaw; a half-sister, Mrs. Ethel Stevens of Fairway; and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Eudora Cemetery. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church." The Kansas City Times, March 16, 1981
