Albert C. Farabaugh, 92 of Findlay passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born on March 15, 1925 in Jeannette, PA to the late Clyde and Kathryn (Giron) Farabaugh. Albert married Carolyn Hile and she survives. He is also survived by eight children; Albert (Kathy) Farabaugh of Grove City, FL, Linda (Dean) Schrier of Findlay, Dave (Darlene) Farabaugh of Clermont, FL, Donnie Farabaugh of Findlay, Carol Farabaugh of Findlay, Sarah (Dave) Tremaine of Findlay, Kelley (Kevin) Scholl of Mansfield and Tish (Michael) Davis of Powell, OH. He is also survived by a brother, Gordon Farabaugh of Doylestown, PA, twelve grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Walter "Skipper" Farabaugh, three brothers; Leonard, Homer and Francis Farabaugh. Albert served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII and was at the Battle of the Bulge. He previously worked for Westmoreland Glass Company in Pennsylvania. Albert then moved to Findlay where he worked at several different places including Cooper Tire and Rubber, two different cab companies and Hardin Manor Apartments. He was a member of the Upper Room Church of God where he previously taught Sunday School. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery where full military rites will be conducted by the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad.
