Funeral services for Thurmond Lee Kempson will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow in Thompson Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Charles W. Easley. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Kempson, 54, of 1915 Central Drive, West Columbia, died yesterday in Lexington County Hospital. He was born in Saluda County, a son of Mrs. Eunice Tratter [Trotter] Kempson and the late Leland A. Kempson. He was a member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, a veteran and member of the Dutch Fork Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lula B. Kempson, his mother, of West Columbia; a brother, Vernon W. Kempson of Cayce, and a sister, Mrs. Gene Gore of Charleston.
