Mr. Kempson, 54, of 1915 Central Drive, West Columbia, died yesterday in Lexington County Hospital. He was born in Saluda County, a son of Mrs. Eunice Tratter [Trotter] Kempson and the late Leland A. Kempson. He was a member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, a veteran and member of the Dutch Fork Masonic Lodge.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lula B. Kempson, his mother, of West Columbia; a brother, Vernon W. Kempson of Cayce, and a sister, Mrs. Gene Gore of Charleston.
