The death of Miss Fannie E. Milliken occurred late Tuesday evening at her home on Fillmore Place, after an illness of about two years, although she had been confined to her bed for only a week. She as 61 years of age and was the daughter of the late William and Mary Ann (Lyon) Milliken. She had lived in Gardiner all her life. She had many friends and was respected by all who knew her. One brother, Fred E. Milliken, survives.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon.
