Services for Mrs. Dollie Emaline Grimes, 87, of Fort Worth, who died at 11 p.m. November 2 at the Stanford Convalescent Home, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Cooper-Sorrells Chapel in Bonham, conducted by the Rev. W.C. Beasley. Interment was in the Willow Wild Cemetery.
Mrs. Grimes was born January 27, 1892 in Tennessee, the daughter of James Woodfine Knight and Nancy Emaline Wesson Knight. She married Morris Guilford Grimes September 8, 1910 in Bonham. He preceded her in death March in 1963. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Bonham.
Survivors include a son, Guilford L. Grimes of Fort Worth; one sister, Mrs. Nannie Anderson of Bonham; and a niece, Mrs. Porter Wallace; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
