NEW BERN | Ida Stilley Wynne, 80, of New Bern, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.
Ida was a member of Croatan Free Will Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Ashford Wynne; sisters, Margaret Toler, Nellie Cayton, Cora Stilley Bachelor, and brother, Oscar Stilley.
Ida is survived by her four sons, William Dennis Wynne (Michele) of New Bern, NC, Jeffrey Ashford Wynne of New Bern, Dudley Allen Johnson (Carmalita) of Vinton, VA, Danny Ray Johnson of New Bern, NC; two brothers, Arthur Stilley (Ruby) of Tucson, AZ, and Herman Stilley (Shirley) of Tucson, AZ; three sisters; Jessie Keener (Jack) of New Bern, NC, Myrul Sawyer (Charles) of New Bern, NC, and Mary Chase (Arthur) of Richlands, NC; three grandchildren, William Dillion Wynne, Samantha Wynne Roy, and Allen Johnson; and two great grandchildren; Delaney Olivia Wynne, and Hayley Marie Cauley.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at Pollock Best Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Croatan Free Will Baptist Church. Burial Will follow at the Wynne Family Cemetery.
