TROY, N.Y. - Dorothy (Engwer) McGan, age 89, of Watervliet Shaker Road in Colonie, passed away on Friday, May 26th 2017 at the Samaritan Hospital in Troy, N.Y.
Born in Troy, she was daughter of the late Daniel A. and Lillian (Cooper) Engwer Sr.
She was the wife of the late George P. McGan.
She had resided in Troy, N.Y. all her life and was a graduate of Troy High School.
Dorothy was a homemaker and worked with the Board of Elections for many years until two years ago.
She loved her dogs and was an avid NY Yankees fan.
She was predeceased by five sisters; Gladys A. Manning, Elizabeth Sorrento, Marie Sagendorf, Alethea Carroll, Lillian Lapp and one brother; Daniel A. Engwer Jr.
Interment will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, N.Y. with her husband.
