Imogene Lee Willy, 74, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, in Eagle. Imogene (Imy) was born in Portland, Ore. on Aug. 14, 1932 to Lester Otis and Annabelle Lee Gowing. She and her older sister Beverly lived there until they moved to Caldwell in 1945. Imy graduated from Caldwell High School in 1950 and moved to Boise shortly afterwards. She married Ray H. Willy in 1955 and had two children. After raising her children, Imy worked at several jobs including The Bazaar, National Car Rental, finally retiring from the Idaho State Department of Transportation. Imy was a thoughtful, caring person and loving mother who during her lifetime enjoyed oil painting, sewing and was always very interested in current events and political discussion. Although her sight worsened over the years, she managed to get by quite well. She will be very much missed by her friends and family. Imy is survived by her sister, Beverly Lanfear, her two children and their spouses, Teresa and Jerry Troy of Boise, and Frank and Lee-Ann Willy of Vancouver, and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her companion of 20 years, Richard Roberts of Boise. The family would like to extend a special expression of gratitude to Susan Mann for her dedication to our mother. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 19, 2007 at Cloverdale Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dry Creek Cemetery.
