Frank Bruce was the son of Franklin Benjamin Bruce and Ella Gertrude (Getty) Bruce. He first married Mabel Elliot Tolbert, but they divorced within a year of marriage. They had no children. On October 28, 1948, Frank married Isoline Barton. They lived and worked the farm with has been maintained in the Bruce family for over 100 years. Frank and Isoline had three children: Glenna Kay Bruce, David Andrew Bruce, and Clarence Alan Bruce.
