Gerry Colclasure, 65, of Shawnee, Kansas, passed away June 24, 2012.

He was born November 17, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, to his adoptive parents Dale and Lillie Colclasure. He served in the US Navy and retired from Owens-Corning Fiberglass in 2002. He was a well known local harmonica player known as “Hobo”.

He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandpa, brother, musician and friend. Through the years he touched many with his harmonica playing. The heart and soul of his music will forever live on.

Gerry is survived by his wife of 34 years Patty; son Raleigh; daughter Lilly; grandson Michael; brother Gary Colclasure; and his mother Billie Wing.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at the Amos Family Funeral Home & Crematory. The funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, also at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge or the Kidney Foundation.
