Kenneth F. Barlow, 84 of Medina, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 28, 2017. He was born December 14, 1932 in Mont Clare, Pennsylvania, and was raised by his grandparents, Mary and Joel Van Ness Barlow. He was a graduate of Phoenixville High School and served in the United States Army. Employed as a railroader since 1955 with the Pennsylvania Railroad, Penn-Central R.R. Association of American Railroads and with Jones & Laughlin Railroads in Pittsburgh. He was a General Claim Agent of the LTV Steel Railroad in Cleveland until retirement. Ken was named in the 1968 edition of Outstanding Young Men of America. Honored as Jaycee of the Year in Monroeville, PA. He served as President of the Western Pennsylvania Claim Agents Association. After retirement, he was active in the community and volunteered at the Medina Hospital.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Joyce (Faust) Barlow; loving children Karen (Bruce) Kaufer, Kenneth R. Barlow, and Melissa (Patrick) Borowski; his dear grandchildren Max Kaufer, Jamie Kaufer D.M.D., and Natalie Ference; and his great-grandchildren Khale Holsman, Amiah Ference, and Romeo Crawford; nieces Heidi Barlow, Sandy Hunt; and nephew Richard Barlow.

He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Barlow; nieces and nephews Stewart, Patricia, and Eric Barlow

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am. on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church, 3480 Laurel Rd, Brunswick, OH 44212. The family will receive friends from 2-5:00 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina 44256, and from 10-11:00am on Monday before the service at the church. Interment with Military Honors will be held at 2:30 pm, Monday, at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
