Stanley P. Glofka was a hotel proprietor, and a veteran. Stanley was born on Feb. 15, 1929 in Wilkes-Barre, PA., and died on - March 7, 2006, Tuesday in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He was 77.

He was a graduated from high school there. He move to Buffalo in 1953.

Since 1959, Mr. Glofka had owned. Dalmatia Hotel on Tonawanda Street.

He served in the Air Force from 1949 until 1953, including duty in the Korean War, as a bombardier aboard a B-29.

Mr. Glofka was a life member of Harry E.Crosby Post 2472, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and a member of the Squirrels Social Club.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Eva Prekich Glofka; two sons, Jacob of Grand Island and Mark of Lancaster; two Sisters, Dolores Revis of Cromwell, Conn., and Mary Moore of Hudson, Pa.; a brother, Edward of Windsor Locks, Conn.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Greco Funeral Home, 2909 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore.

Burial will be in;

Mount Olivet Cemetery.
