Timothy Allen Raymond, age 64, of Lehigh, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. Tim's wish was to be cremated. A time of gathering for family and friends will be from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Navy at 1 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge.
Timothy Allen Raymond was born to Frank and Carol (Keyser) Raymond on November 18, 1952 in Fort Dodge. The family moved to Lehigh in 1966, where Tim lived most of his life. Tim served in the United States Navy on the USS Independence.
Tim is survived by his sister Pamela (Del) Christy, brothers Michael (Lily) Raymond, Andy (Deb) Raymond and Guy Raymond, daughters Rachel Raymond and Misty Thoma Bass, several grandkids and several great grandkids and many nieces and nephews and their families. Preceded him in death are his parents, a brother Franklin (Butch) Raymond, niece Connie (Christy) Sande and a nephew Bob Christy.
