Doris "TeeDee" A. Reif, 99, of Peshtigo, WI passed away May 27th, 2017, at Rennes Health Center East of Peshtigo, WI. She was born in Oconto on December 2nd, 1917, daughter of the late Stanley and Gertrude (Krueger) Garrigan.
Doris married Jerome W. Reif at the First American Lutheran Church in Oconto on December 9th, 1939. He preceded her in death on August 22nd, 1997.
Along with her husband, Doris was co-owner and operator of the J.L. Reif Grocery and Cheese Factory in County Line.
She enjoyed gardening, painting, pottery, genealogy and anything to do that involved her grandchildren. She was a devoted church member, and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Doris is survived by two sons: Dennis (Lynn) Reif of Madison, WI and Lyn Reif of Peshtigo, WI;
two sisters: Kate (Ken) Cisar and Joyce Shallow;
her grandchildren: Kim Schoeberl, Robin Reif, Sue Immel, Stacey Newell, Stephen Reif, Shani Shepherd, and Shawn Reif;
and her great-grandchildren: Derek and Nick Schoeberl, Brianna and Calla Hook, Logan, Paige and Brooke Immel, Bobbi, Maizie and Riley Reif, Trey, and Ty Shepherd.
She also survived by two daughters-in-law: Dawn "Cookie" Reif and Donna Reif;
and two sisters-in-law: Virginia "Birdie" Garrigan and Sharon Garrigan.
Along with her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by two sons: James "Jum" Reif and Thomas Reif;
four brothers: James, Stanley Jr., Harley and Harvey "Mic" Garrigan;
three sisters: Evelyn Durr, Elieen Reed, and Betty Schink;
a brother-in-law, Chester "Chub" Shallow;
and a granddaughter, Jerelyn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5th, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peshtigo from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
