Dorothy May Broadbent Blair, 91, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Salt Lake City after complications from a fall.

Dorothy was born in Weiser, Idaho on August 15, 1925 to Francis H. Broadbent and Amelia Millward Broadbent. She moved to Grantsville in 1936, where she graduated from Grantsville High School in 1943.

She married George Boyd "Bud" Blair on June 6, 1947.

Dorothy worked at the Tooele Ordnance Depot during World War II. After having her children, she went to work at Heber Valley Milk and later started her own business as a color consultant and makeup artist.

She was an active member of the Winder Third Ward and the Millcreek community for sixty-one years. Dorothy was a great cook, made the best spaghetti sauce, and always had cookies in the jar in the cupboard.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Lynn LeBaron (Eddie, deceased) and Gerri Lou Blair (Jeff Howard); nine grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; twenty-three great-great-grandchildren; and Billy the dachshund.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Winder Third Ward Chapel, 1250 East Murray Holladay Road (4780 South). Family and friends may call on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 South State Street (100 East), and prior to the services at the church on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Interment at Lake Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
