Earl Milton Foster, Sr., 91, of Elmer passed away on May 26, 2017. Born in Elmer, he was the son of the late Warren Foster, Sr. and Verna (nee Gibson) Foster.

Earl was a mechanic and a truck driver throughout his life, most recently with Kramme Trucking in Monroeville. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the end of World War II. Earl loved to ride, no matter if it was behind the wheel of his truck or just simply going for a drive. Earl loved to eat, especially at the Elmer Diner; he occasionally enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a huge fan of wrestling.

Earl is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 64 years, Shirley (nee Garron) Foster; his children Lois Cataldi (Jack) of Pittsgrove, Earl Foster Jr. (Georgia) of Auburn, Warren Foster (Terry) of Pilesgrove, Patty Hickman of Elmer and Herb Foster of Gibbstown; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; his brothers Harold Foster and Warren Foster Jr.; and his sisters Lois Hitchner (Harold) and Betty Ann Green.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Harold "Butch" Foster and his sisters Irene Reed, Eleanor Paulitis and Elaine Wilde.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098 with a visitation from 10 - 11 AM followed by the service at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Lawnside Cemetery in Woodstown. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Earl's memory to the Salem County Humane Society, PO Box 214, Carneys Point, NJ 08069.
