Earl T. ("E.T.") Bills was born March 2, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MI and passed away peacefully on December 11, 2016 in Alma, MI at the age of 80 years, 9 months, 2 days.

He married Aurelia Golden Afton October 12, 1957 in Second Congregational Church, Grand Rapids, Kent Co., Michigan.

E.T. served his country in the U.S. Navy for three years active service including being in Antarctica, twice with Operation Deep Freeze III and IV and was the quartermaster on the ice breaker, The Glacier (Admiral Bird's flagship). E.T. then served for twelve years in the Naval Reserves. He also served his community as a Police Officer in the City of Grand Rapids, MI for nine years, and worked in the Insurance Industry later in life.

E.T. was a proud life-member and Past Master of Grand Rapids Malta Masonic Lodge, (Doric Lodge) and spent his last years in their beautiful Masonic Pathways facility in Alma, MI. E.T. cherished his family, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Aurelia Golden Bills as well as a brother, Cleo Ray Bills of Grand Rapids, MI.

He touched the lives of many friends and family members and will be dearly missed by all. Earl ("E.T.") Bills rests next to his wife at: Blythefield Memory Gardens 6200 Brewer Avenue NE, Rockford, Michigan
