Born in Smithtown NY Jan. 15 1950 she was a daughter of Gloria F. (Cowan) Valsamis of East Northport NY and the late Odyseus Valsamis of Florida.
She was a creative person both as a painter and landscaper. A lover of life and people she desired the best for everyone and played a part wherever she could.
Alethea will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her brother Lee Valsamis and her sister Kathy Lamonica.
Alethea is survived by three sons Louis Samaritano Lake Grove NY, Jesse Mahieu Ringtown PA and Vincent Esposito New York; and a brother Adonis Valsamis New York.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in her hometown in New York. Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home 412 W. Main St. Ringtown PA has charge of arrangements.
